In buildings the exposed surfaces wear fastest — glazing, stainless railings, handles, elevator cabs and façade panels. Replacement or refinishing is costly and means downtime. Protective and window films bring the same logic here as PPF on a car: a thin, replaceable layer while the expensive substrate underneath stays protected.

Glazing solves two things at once — protection and thermal comfort. Nanotech window film comes on a 152 × 30 m roll and goes on for tinting and reducing interior heat load. For an applicator it's a logistically simple line: one roll covers a large glazed area, and installation builds on the techniques they already know from automotive film.

Steel and metal elements are protected against abrasion, fingerprints and scratching in exposed zones. Railings, elevator cabs and door panels are exactly the high-contact spots. The film applies directly onto the existing surface, so there's no construction waste and the work can be scheduled in sections outside peak hours.

The advantage is one film line across both glass and metal. The applicator doesn't have to switch suppliers per surface and keeps a single spec for the whole building. Substrate prep is decisive — degreasing and clearing the surface of dust and silicones drives adhesion just as it does on paint or gelcoat.
